FLIGHT FINDER

This project was part of an online course at the UX Design Institute at the University of Glasgow.

The main task was to analyze and design a flight booking app.

As a very functional app, flight booking apps are often overloaded as they have to provide a lot of information. The aim of the project was to make the process of flight booking frictionless, but also to integrate some playful elements.

During the Project the following methods of analysis where applied:

- Benchmark analysis: Comparison of the structure of three flight booking apps

- Creation of Personas

- Interviews with target group and stakeholders

- Online user testing

- Management and holding of an online workshop

- Creation of a customer journey based on the findings from the workshop

The findings were collected online in an affinity diagram in a workshop and discussed and clustered in the group together with selected target group members and stakeholders.

Based on the main insights a visualization of the process, a wireframe and a User Interface and was designed.

Then this helped to create a low, medium and high fidelity prototype of the fictional app.
