FAKE HUNTER

The square of the Berlin Kulturforum was to be publicised and revitalised through an interactive speculative concept as part of a design competition in 2021 and won the third place of the competition.

I chose the topic fake news as a relevant and interesting topic.

I designed a high fidelity prototype of an app where the user can train himself to recognize fake news in this case about the Berliner kulturforum.

The app is intended to playfully encourage us to critically scrutinise the information we receive on a daily basis and to separate the right information from the wrong information.

By swiping between incorrect and correct information, the aim is to arouse curiosity and acquire new knowledge about the Kulturforum.

Depending on whether the participants have recognised the fake news or not, the Kulturforum appears in bright light or in darkness.
